Make sample management easier with our Novalab sample bags!

Hanova has chosen to incorporate tinted films into its range of Novalab bags. Not just to look good, but to help organise and manage samples in medical environments.
Colour-coded identification meets four objectives:
Degree of urgency of the sample: a RED colour indicates an URGENT sample requiring immediate treatment. Other colours correspond to NON-URGENT samples.
Type of sample : BIOCHEMISTRY, MICROBIOLOGY, ANAPATHOLOGY, BACTERIOLOGY or OTHER. Each type of sample is identified by a specific colour code, enabling the bag to be quickly directed to the appropriate laboratory for analysis.
Origin of the sample: in many establishments, such as small hospitals or maternity wards with no on-site laboratory, samples are collected several times a day by a courier. These external samples are placed in a separate coloured bag to indicate that they must be processed as a priority, as they have often been taken at least 30 minutes previously. Without our coloured bags, there is a risk that they will be processed with the internal samples, which could lead to a delay that is too long and render the samples unusable.
Transport temperature: some laboratories use a colour code to differentiate samples according to the required transport temperature:
Refrigerated (transparent) , frozen (blue), ambient (red or green). This system ensures that conservation conditions are respected throughout transport, sometimes over long periods, such as overnight transport.
The tinted films on Novalab bags ensure the integrity of the samples, facilitate their identification and optimise their routing in accordance with COFRAC ISO 15189 standards. This visual system simplifies organisation, reduces errors and saves time for healthcare professionals.
