What about our history?

It all began in 1999, with the creation of our little 500 m² factory on the Ruitz site in Pas-de-Calais. As this little company needed a name, we decided that to take it to the top, we would name it Nova, like a star, and add the first syllable of the name of its founder, Bruno Hannecart.

And because we had to start somewhere, we launched three ranges of industrial packaging products: Novalist, Novamailand Novagrip. We only had 3 employees!

Barely a year later, in 2000, we realised that 500 m² was a bit too small for Mr Hannecart’s boundless ambition… so we expanded! +We added 1,600 m² to give us a bit of breathing space and to continue innovating and hiring!

In 2001, because Mr Hannecart likes to be one step ahead, we launched the Novasafe range of bank envelopes.

In 2009, in the same vein and to change the sector of activity, we added the Novalab range of sampling sachets, then quickly the Novafood range of food pouches.

In 2018, it’s that time again! We expanded our premises, adding 3,000 m² of production and storage space and colourful offices 😊

In 2021, we’ve gone even bigger: a 1,200 m² extension for our storage building, and we’ve invested in three new production lines for e-commerce, healthcare and food packaging. Because we never do things by halves at Hanova 😉

And now, 2024… we’re going to leave you with a bit of suspense. Take a guess at our next project…
